Fireplace means a place where fire is burn to keep the house warm. In olden days people use to burn woods for heating homes and offices. But now every house in UK has a Fireplace for the purpose of heating the home. Even with all the changes and advancement the style of fire place has also been changed. People chooses different types of Fireplace, fireplaces which mainly depends upon their use and personal preference .Now there are different types of fireplaces like direct vent fireplace, electrical fireplace.gas fireplace, stone fireplace, wood burning fireplace.

The basic method of building Fireplace, fireplaces consists of two elements – the surround and the insert. If we notice that the surround portions of the fireplace is the mantle and sides and is usually constructed of wood, marble, granite, and sometimes iron. Now where the fire is burn is constructed of cast iron.

Now you will have to be very alert and keep monitoring every time, especially when you are going to sleep. And if you have a child at home then you have to extra precautions. And if you have a wood fireplace at home then for the purpose of safety you have to clean it every day.
