CHAIN LINK FENCE INSTALLATION
Posted: January 12, 2012 at 4:50 amChain link fences are made galvanized coated steel wire. The wires are set in a zigzag pattern shaping up like a diamond. This type of fence installation is popular due to its look and durability. These fences come in 20 rod and 50 ft rolls which can be tied by unscrewing any one of the end wires and then screwing it back in so that both the pieces are tied up. The fence installation process takes place at the last and hence requires to be done accurately to avoid any loop holes.
Several tools are required for Chain link fence installation. Such as tape measure, level, pliers, sledge hammer, string, French stretcher, wheelbarrow, etc. Firstly, the property lines need to be surveyed. This is done by stretching a string along the property line. Secondly, the posts need to be located and set accurately and then fittings are applied. Thirdly, top rails need to be applied to understand the length. This is done by attaching loop caps to line posts. Fourthly, the fabricated chain links need to be hanged and tied among the posts. Lastly, the chain links are stretched and gates are hanged. This completes the fence installation process.
